Word of Life Church believes that the Body of Christ, as the church, is the pillar and ground of truth in the earth. Jesus declared himself to be the way, the truth, and the life. Paul in writing to the Christians at Ephesus told them that they had not so learned Christ, if so be that they had heard him and been taught by him as the truth is in Jesus; and that if they hear Him, He would teach them how to be renewed in the spirit of their mind which would enable them to put off the old man and put on the new man, resulting in righteousness and true holiness (Eph. 4:20-24).

So we endeavor to hear Him and be taught of Him so that we do not teach the doctrine’s of men, but rather to bring forth a Holy Spirit breathed word from the Lord Jesus Christ that imparts life and faith to all that hear. This enables the believer to grow in their knowledge and intimacy with the Lord Jesus Christ; for man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

We do not believe that one assembly or one believer can know all the truth but rather the Lord Jesus Christ reveals His word to the entire Body. Therefore we need one another as the Holy Spirit leads us and guides us all into all truth.
