Word of Life Church

Word of Life Church is blessed with a strong teaching emphasis. To be a disciple of Christ requires a proper foundation in the first principles of the doctrine of Christ as defined by Hebrews 6:1-2. From there we go on to perfection or maturity in our knowledge and relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Paul warned Timothy that in the last time some would depart from the faith giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils (1Timothy 4:1). He also taught that many would not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts would heap to themselves teachers having itching ears; and would turn their ears from the truth unto fables (2Timothy 4:3-4). Therefore, Word of Life Church offers teaching ministry to our members and the Body of Christ at large. It is out desire to see the church established in the first principles of the doctrine of Christ, that His Body may be rooted and grounded in Him. From there the Holy Spirit can bring a believer into a love for God’s word and develop in them a life style of study in His word. In John 8:31-32 Jesus said to those that believed on Him, “If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed; and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.” We are also admonished by the apostle Paul, in 2Timothy 2:15, to study God’s word, that we may be approved of God, and, a workman that need not be ashamed; but rather thoroughly furnished unto every good work.
