What We Believe

1. All scripture is divinely inspired and given by God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the people of God may be complete and fully equipped for every good and godly work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

2. We believe in the Godhead, which consist of three distinct but equal persons; God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit, which three manifests the one true and living God (1 John 5:7).

3. That God manifested himself in the flesh, in the person of Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ. (John 1:1, 14; 1 Timothy 3:16).

4. That Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, died upon Calvary’s cross as the atoning sacrifice for the sin of all humanity. And that acceptance by faith in His atoning sacrifice is the only means by which man can be forgiven for his sin, thus being delivered from eternal judgment (Isaiah 53:5, 11; Acts 4:12, 10:43; Hebrews 9:14).

5. That Jesus Christ was resurrected from death by the Holy Spirit in the power of God and is alive forever more (Romans 1:4; 6:5, 8:11).

6. That after His resurrection, the man Christ Jesus, ascended to the throne of God the Father and sat down at the right hand of the Father, as the Lord of lords and King of kings to reign and rule for ever more.

7. That baptism by immersion in water should be subsequent to a profession of faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is a natural ordinance displaying the spiritual operation that takes place in the life of the new convert at the moment of regeneration (Matt. 3:13-15; Mark 1:4-5; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-5). Refusal to be baptized by immersion in water should be considered a sign that one has not been truly regenerated.

8. That when the new believer is regenerated he is sealed until the day of redemption through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit ( Ephesians 1:13; 4:30).

9. That subsequent to the sealing of the Holy Spirit a believer should be baptized in the Holy Spirit to be endued from on high with the power (miraculous force) of God for empowerment in the inner man to be a witness for Jesus Christ (Luke 24: 49; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:38-39; Ephesians 3:16).

10. That all the “gifts” of the Holy Spirit are and will be present and active in the Body of Christ until Christ returns (1 Corinthians 12:4-11).

11. That the Ascension gifts of the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher are and will be functional in the Body of Christ until we all come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. And that all of their function is necessary for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry of Jesus Christ in the earth, and the building up of the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-16).

12. That there is one universal Body of the Lord Jesus Christ, consisting of many members, with each individual member supplying to the universal body of Christ, that which the Father has intended for each member to supply. Therefore each individual believer is a necessary member to the proper functioning of the whole Body of Christ. Therefore, we are not to forsake the assembling together of ourselves in corporate worship, fellowship, and service to and in the Body of Christ(1 Corinthians 12:12-30; Ephesians 4:4, 16; Hebrews 10:25; Acts 2:42, 46).

13. That there will be a resurrection of the both the just and the unjust; with the just entering into eternal life, and the unjust into eternal condemnation (John 5:28-29; 1 Corinthians 15:52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16; Rev. 20:11-15).

14. That the Lord Jesus Christ will literally return to earth to establish his millennial reign on earth; and all that have been redeemed will reign and rule with him for a thousand years as kings and priests (Zechariah 14:4,9; Rev. 19:11-16).
